The Valkyries were a band of warrior-maidens that served Odin as choosers of slain warriors, who were then taken to reside in Valhalla. There the warriors would spend their days fighting and nights feasting until Ragnarok, the day of the final world battle.
 
This print is limited to only 900 copies and comes matted in black to a finished size of 25" x 29".
